What's the general opinion of this stuff? I have an XP2600+ on an
Epox 8RDA+ and it all runs sweet at 200 FSB. I don't wish to bump
up the FSB any more, but I would like to get CAS2 and other timings
as fast as I can.
Corsair is only available via overseas order from here and would
either take 6 weeks to arrive by sea or cost more than I want to
spend via air-mail - the shops I've asked have all told me to just
forget about being able to return Corsair in Australia if there's
any problem.
But I can get KingMAX PC3500 here at a reasonable price, and I've
tested a piece in my PC and got far improved settings over generic
CL2 and 2.5.
Is it likely I'll be able to get speeds that are good for 400Mhz
DDR RAM out of this stuff? So far I've seen 7-2-2-CAS2 on it but
haven't had a chance to try for better.

Good performance? Value? Reputation?

Same goes for other exotic brands like TwinMOS, Mushkin etc - you
have to order it from OS and there's zero chance of a return if you
need to. That's a big point in favour Kingston... plus it's a lot
cheaper.
TIA

You can get Corsair in Australia from here:

I don't know if they'll take it back from you though.

Perth.
All I was really wondering is how good is Kingmax. I can get
it retail locally and that's far preferable to sending away,
plus there's a discount available to me.
Is this stuff any good compared to other PC3500?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
