I just installed my KV-85 mobo and Sempron 2800+ processor but now I can't
install windowsXP.
It goes through the installation process fine until it get to the point
where it starts copying files. There is always a message the says the
certain files cannot be copied. I've formatted my hard drive numerous times,
set the bios to failsafe mode, and even changed cd-roms. This is a new
install so I'm wondering is something wrong with the board, or is something
in my hard drive not functioning correctly

Post to one of the Windows XP newsgroups and include any error messages.
Much better help there than here.

Memory errors can cause the file copy errors. Test your memory.

Stephen, I think you just might be correct. After numerous tries, I finally
got windows to install, BUT then it crashed and gave me a message saying
that "HIMEM.SYS has detected unreliable XMS memory at address 00114E4C".
So its back to Fry's I go to replace the Kingston memory. Think I'm going
with Corsair this time.
