Fujitsu-Siemens C15-2. Was running terminal emulator. Left my desk, monitor totally out. Responded to power on/off by flashing screen. Made noise when touched settings buttons. Disconnected power, cables. Tried bypassing KVM switch. On and off, onn and off. Then after a few hours, turned it on. Surprise. Hunky Dory.
