Can't close my Toshiba CD-ROM drive? - Hello. I have a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1212 drive that refuses to close with or without a CD/DVD when the computer is on. If I turn off the computer and power it on, the drive closes and stays close. I can reopen it if I want, but then it won't close...

How do you fit an 800 meg file on a cd? - I've some large files over the internet that I would like archive to a cd, but they are around 800 megs for a single file... Is there some way to edit the file or even to cut off the end to make it fit on a cd? Thanks! Ter

about the dw-u10a - Hey there, i just got the drive the other day and hada few problems with it. I don't know if it was the media i was using or the drive but I decided to flash it first from the dw-u10a firmware to the dru-500a firmware, as they are the same..

I have had no problems with LG before but I don't about the 52 speeds?

anybody have any thoughts?

I have four systems using lite-on ltr-52246S drives. So far we've had nothing
but good experiences with these drives. Using them with Nero 5.5.9.13 on xp
pro sp-1.latest with zero problems, and there's plenty of "cloning"
applications that specifically support the lite-on 52x24x52 as well...

Good stuff, and cheap, too!
