I just replaced my sony cd-r 8x drive with a Liteon 52x cd-r drive. At reboot my comp recognized it and installed the drivers. When I tried it out, I saw little to no difference in speed compared to my 8x. So I went to the website and installed the firmware for the drive, still no difference. Im using nero 5.5 on win me and the program shows it as burning at 52x. Ive burned cds at 32x on another comp and noticed a much bigger difference... Any ideas??
