Hello,
I've seen the MX 31000 wireless desktop in a local store.
My first thoughts were: wow nice looking keyboard but.. why are those
Function keys so small and what happened to the insert key?
Ok, the last one I know, there is also an insert on the numeric keypad, but
pretty useless if you use numbers, lol.
I use the insert key more often when doing some programming work and such
and I've had the experience with a simpler logitech keyboard (I think it was
the called the office keyboard or something), also missing the insert in the
'middle' portion of the keyboard. Had to num-lock - insert - num-lock a lot
and that is not what I want.
Also, with that office(?) keyboard, the function keys were in the 'extended'
mode by default.
So I had to press the F-extention key everytime I booted into windows and
there was no way to change the default to the normal F-key usage.
How is this handled with the MX 3100?
And, as I don't only do serious stuff, the F keys look somewhat small, are
they usable for fast gaming (for selecting spells or weapons in rts type
games)?
Thanks in advance!

Wow! And is it true that you can't change the mouse batteries???
Even for rechargeables, it would be silly not to be able to change them, I
mean, what if (one of) the batteries fails?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: Question about Logitech MX 3100 wireless keyboard and mouse |
