Post subject: 4 Long Beeps Then Shutdown On Award BIOS

I struggled with this problem for a few days. Turns out that when you
turn on the system it beeps 4 times then shutsdown means the BIOS is
detecting a falty CPU fan. In my case it was a simple matter of making
sure that the fan was plugged into fan1 on the motherboard. Try
checking this first. Solved my problems so far. Other indications
include a buzzing cpu fan.
