Post subject: Lost HD, can I copy
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>storage (more info?)

I cannot access my hard drive. However, I want to be able to get files
moved off of it (not sure if it is worth using much more).

Is there some program that can access the drive and copy the files to
another drive? I do not want to destroy my old broken one until I have what
I need removed from it.

I have looked at this group and found a couple of sites. But, the repair
the disk. I just want to be able to see the files and copy them off (make
my selections, not "blanket" style recovery).

Any ideas
