On the Asus website there are downloads for the NVidia Raid Driver
Package and the JMicron JMB36X RAID Controller Driver. I'm not familiar
with the JMicron driver. When I first built the computer, the only RAID
driver I used was the NVidia (to make a floppy for the installation of
Windows) in order to RAID 0 two Raptor hard drives. Can someone tell me
if the JMicron is in addition to the NVidia driver, or instead of and
what the difference is? I'm installing two new 74GB Raptors (replacing
two 36GB ones) and the OS is Vista Home Premium 64.

Thanks,
Fitz

Is there a Jmicron chip on your motherboard ?
I don't see it in the manual.

Is there a Jmicron driver listed on the motherboard CD ?

No to both, so that would answer the question. Wonder why they would add
it to the list of available downloads for the M2N-E motherboard. There's
no revision number on the motherboard and the manual only refers to the
NVidia RAID controller.

Thanks for the help,
Fitz
