Don't do it.

On a fresh install, I used the CD that came with the card. MMC 8.x .
Worked ok. But I wanted TV sound without using a small part of a bulky
cable to plug into the back of my sound card.

So, foolishly, I tried upgrading to the latest and greatest as below
(November 2007). Bad bad boo boo. Every time I started TV, there were
repeated channel scans. When it started, the TV size was funny and
there were pixelations of about 100 pixels each.

7-11_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_54435.exe
9-14_mmc_uci.exe
6-12_xcode_38463.exe
9-16_mmc_enu.exe
3-04_rw_enu.exe

Uninstalled everything. Went back to the following. It works well .

6-2_xp-2k_dd_30152.exe
6-2_xp-2k_wdm_30152.exe
9-08_mmc_uci.exe
9-08_mmc_enu.exe

Caveats (documented in many places and here as well Smile)
When scheduling events from the tv listing, take care to ensure that
there are no special characters in the event name like ". " .
Scheduler will crash.
If you want a weekly recording, first make a one time event and
before it runs, reset it to a weekly event.
