Post subject: MSI 865 NEO2 Wont post after reboot
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware>overclocking, others (more info?)

I had the board installed and running for over a month. I plugged my
logitech wheel into the front usb and it locked up. Reset button and power
button did not function so I pulled the power cord from the rear. When I
plugged it back in nothing happened. After a few minutes I went to get my
ATX power tester and when I came back the board had powered on but had not
even posted yet, the monitor was blank. I rebooted several times and the
fans and drives spun up but that was all. I reset the cmos and removed the
battery but nothing changed. I also tested the wheel in my laptop and it was
ok.I moved the cpu/ram/video to an Intel 845 and it came up fine so I assume
the board is at fault. Any ideas what could have happened? I know this does
not relate to overclocking but maybe someone there can help.
