Post subject: MX59 Pro II - BIOS - largest drive size
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>aopen (more info?)

Our last remaining socket 7 based system has an AOpen MX59 Pro II
motherboard with BIIOS version 1.27 (the last BIOS issued for this board
- July 2002).

I've been able to hook up a 40 GB drive no problem, but I have come
across a great deal on a 120 GB drive that I would like to put in this
machine (it's our file server).

Anyone have an idea on what the largest size harddrive I could connect
to this board? Would the 120 GB drive work in it without the need for
boot sector software?

Thanks...Brad
