The flash isn't...
When in red eye mode, I get the pre flashes, but no flash for the
picture.
Anyone know a way to force the flash to fire?
I don't have a remote to fire the flash...
Is there some setting that was changed erroneously to cause the flash
to stop functioning?
I do have the Lightning icon on, not the "Not Lightning", not the
flood, not the redeye, other than for the test, and definately not
switched off...
I do notice that when taking a picture, I get the red light on
frequently, even when my friend with a 5700 from the same position
doesn't...
BTW the settings I use are basically the Auto mode... And I compared
my settings to his and they were identical...
I am hoping this is a software problem, as when I called a Nikon
repair shop they want to charge me a minimum of $135 dollars before
parts...
I can't see spending 1/4 of the cost of the camera for them to "look"
at it...
Thanks >> Stay informed about: Malfunctioning Nikon 5000 |
