VA503+: maximum installable memory? DIMM size limitation? - I'm just can the 504+ handle more than 256MB of memory? Every time I've tried (with one 256MB stick and assorted other sticks of PC100 and PC133 flavors and sizes), the system boots but will not run through memtest without erroring out. If I..

DFI K6bv3+: maximum cacheable memory? - I have a DFI k6bv3+ w/2MB L2 cache. I'm figuring that if the VA503+ can cache 256MB w/1MB of L2 cache the k6bv3+ can probably cache 512MB w/2MB of L2 cache? The tag RAM size would be the factor here right? I'm assuming mode..

Is the maximum memory that can be cached by 1m VA503+ 320mb? - I have a VA503+ which has 1mb onboard cache. It is supposed that the maximum cacheable memory is 256mb. Has anyone successfully installed a hard drive greater than 32Gb on
the FIC CL31-A board? I picked one up cheap (£10 + Celeron 400) &
built a snappy little linux box out of it. 20Gb HDD in at present,
but wouldn't mind upgrading to an 80Gb...120Gb...?

Any comments appreciated.

cheers

Dave

The FIC FAQ for this board states that there is a beta (unsupported)
BIOS RB4011 that supports above 32 GB, though it does not say if it is
limited to 65 GB or 137 GB. You can find it here:
