I'm guessing this "was" the boot record. I am mostly wondering what and
why.
Here is what happened. I was in admin mode using diskkeeper. When it
was done I restarted and got the message "Missing NTLDR press ctrl alt del
to restart." It would display that over and over. When I went into the
bios, my 80GB IBM was not showing and the 250ZIP drive was showing as
Primary Master and not Secondary Master like it should've been. I cleared
the CMOS but could not get the HD to show up. I removed the ZIP drive and
cleared the CMOS again. Now everything is fine after a fresh load of
W2kPro. Before this I thought I was in need of a new battery.

Q: Was my 250ZIP causing these problems?

MSI KT3 Ultra ARU bios 5.7
XP1700+ O/C 166x12.5
Gainward GF3ti200
3Com LAN card
Firewire PCI card
SB Live! value
Primary Master: 80GB IBM (4x20GB partitions)
Primary Slave: 250ZIP Drive
Secondary Master: HP 9100 CDRW
Secondary Slave: 48x CDROM
