Looking to build a new gaming system - it will be based on an Intel
Duo 6750.

Question is, I really want a 24" screen but I'm not sure ny budget can
stretch to an nVidia 8800 GTX. How will a 8800GTS 640Mb cope with a
24" screen?

I play games such as Eve Online, Stalker, Oblivion and, of course,
Crysis when it arrives!

Thanks

Works just fine. I am on GTS on 30" screen, I am sacrificing anti-
aliasing (I don't often go higher than 2x) for resolution though.
2560x1600, you would be talking about 1920x1200? That's roughly half
the amount of pixels to fill, so if 2x AA works fine for me, you
should be smooth with the same setting, comfortable still at 2x AA and
alright with even 4x.

If you disable AA and just point sample the pixels, eg. fragments-to-
pixels ratio is 1.0, then you should have no problems at all with that
card.

I can't say about Crysis or how it performs.. afaik, the game isn't
even complete yet?

More interesting is how the Quake Wars works on GTS, it should be out
in few days.. Razz
