I recently a new NF7 board but when I tried to use a Geforce2 Ultra video
card, I just got a black screen. The machine seems to boot okay (get the
okay beep and the hard drive is working like Windows XP is loading). When I
replaced the card with an ATI Raedon VE card, I got video. The card was
working great with the previous motherboard (an Elite board with a Duron 1.2
gig).
New setup includes:
NF 7 board
Athlon XP 2000
Micron 333/256 meg
Kingston 333/512 meg
Western Digital 40 gig hard drive
Sony DVD player
Plextor 12/10/32A
300 watt power supply
Also running two case fans in addition the power supply fan and the cpu fan.

Any help would be appreciated.

A number of the newer boards have a max. agp of 1.5 volts. Might want to
check the voltage requirements of the Geforce.

Tried to track down the voltage specs of the Geforce2 Ultra but have no
luck. The video board does have an onboard fan which operates. I am making
the assumption (knowing full well what happens when one assumes) the board
is being recognized since I am getting a good beep code on the post and the
board continues to boot.
