Just finished a build and all seems OK but....
The keyboard and mouse are not working after a reboot. If I reboot again,
all is restored. So every other reboot is OK.
Any clues ?? Memory compatibility ?
XP2700+ Tbred, Corsair twinX (2x512) 3200 CL2, Maxtor 160Gb SATA drive,
Windows XP, MS optical Intellimouse, MS Internet Keyboard, Abit Siluro

Not working WHERE? Windows? Do they work on each boot to get into BIOS and
navigate its screens and make changes? Or is it every other boot that fails
for these devices and you can't even use the keyboard to get into the BIOS?
PS/2 or USB keyboard and/or mouse?
Cordless or wired?
Brands and models?

They are both Microsoft models as stated.
They are both PS2 wires devices.
They are lost to both Windows and BIOS on every other boot. (So I can get
into BIOS sometimes).

OK it's time for hands up !
I admit that I had the mouse plugged into the keyboard socket and the
keyboard into the mouse socket.
What I did't know was that they would both work like this.
Doh
