Since this motherboard is not listed on the bios update page, what board's
bios is to be used?

The FlashMenu states it should be NF7-S!?

Unless I'm very much mistaken there is no such board as a NF7-SL....you must
have an NF7-S.
Which bios you need depends on the revision number. It's marked on a sticker
on the board, the latest rev 2.0 version uses a different bios to earlier
revisions.

The box says indeed it is a NF7-SL v. 2.0.

Really? if that is the case then you'd still use bios 22 for version
2.0 - Use cpuz to check. post back and let us know if there are any
differences between S and SL.

I have just successfully flashed the bios with FlashMenu!

Mind you, FlashMenu has suggested downloading bios for NF7-S 2.0. Eventually
I ended up downloading the file manually due to the bug in FlashMenu, but
used FlashMenu to update the bios.

Hi,
what bug? . . .Flashmenu work *faultlessly* for me. . .great app. Still
it's good to be able to do it manually, because new BIOS sometimes make your
PC unable to boot Windows!

I experienced it myself and read around this newsgroup: FlashMenu (even in
its most recent 1.32 version) cannot find the file, so one has to download
it manually and point FlashMenu to do it from the downloaded file.

No such bug with the Asus utility.
