NF7 keep giving ambulance sound

I have an Abit AG8 MoBo, and it has onboard sound. I'd like to make use of the headphone jack and mic jack

av8 mother board giving me memory problem - i had been using a 512 + 512 MB 400 Mhz = 1 Ghz 400 mhz for the past few months.. recently i bought a 1 Ghz 400 mhz stick and when i slot it in, the mother board reads at 1.5 Ghz when it is supposed to be at 2 Ghz.. does anyone have a solution for this?.

NF7-S no sound need help - Built a new system, works ok, but I have no sound! Have installed the latest bios and mobo chip driver System: Windows 2000, sp4 NF7-S, version 2 athlon xp 3200 FSB 400 1 GB Mushkin pc 3500 xfx fx5950 graphics

No sound - System NF7 Nvidia drivers No sound. No muted settings, all volume controls set to max. Control Panel System Hardware shows no conflicts and are all shown to be working On chip sound enabled in BIOS. No sound from CD/DVD ROMS or Windows default..

VA-10 sound - I am running the VIA AC'97 drivers (WDM) dated It works on the front speaker, but I get nothing out of the rear or centre. I have no I've tried setting the speakers to quad and surround but all I get is sound from the front with..

continuesly sound, it happen some time. If anybody happen to experience the
way i have,

Normally, that means the cpu temp has exceeded what you configured in
the bios.

Over temp or fan failure alarm. Check the cpu heatsink & fan for
proper installation.

I've experienced this before and it was the overtemperature alarm. Try
opening up your pc and vauum cleaning out any dust that is blocking the
fans - especially CPU fan.

If I run the ABIT EQ software on my NF7-S, it consistently alarms. I don't
know why, temps are fine. I'm thinking that for some reason, it's picking
up a slower revolution speed on the CPU fan. I have the same fan/heatsink
on the NF7-S as I do on an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe, and MBM5 picks up two
different speeds on the boards. The ASUS CPU fan shows up at twice the
speed of the NF7-S. Not sure why that is.
