Not, 'coz it will not fit as many pictures....
Better yet,
get a Sandisk Ultra, Lexar 40x or (my choice) Transcend 45x...
My "30x" Transcend is definitively faster than the cheaper,
generic/less-known-brand card I bought first, I won't make that
mistake again!
And if you check the CF Database over at Rob G's site
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007-6111" target="_blank">http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007-6111</a> you
should see that almost without exceptions the larger capacity CF wins
hands-down - i.e. the "Ultra" Sandisk beats the "standard" 512MB by
100% in write-speed on the 1Ds, if you are really concerned just get
an Ultra or at least a card with 30-40 "X".<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
