My system:
p4p800dlx
P4 2.8ht
corsair 2*513 pc3700 dual, channel running DDR400

OC'ed @

236 system bus (3.3ghz)
1:1 cpu/ram
mam enabled
turbo enabled
3,4,4,7,8

Question : while booting prior to OC I would get the message "DDR 400
dual chammel linear mode". Now this message does not appear any more.
Can someone tell me if I still get DDR400 dual channel or has it been
deactivated by turbo.

Turbo mode simply forces tighter DRAM timings, which you can set manually if
that's what you want. It may be possible that the tighter timings on
unmatched modules have caused DDR detection to fail.

No the Ram was a matched pair. If I bring the system back to standard
settings the DDR400 dual channel message appears again.

Did a couple of tests with SiSoft Sandra Pro v2004 & cpu-z-120 and
ram shows up as dual channel.

I'm happy
