X5DAE & 800MHz? - Hello, I'm running a pair of 2.4GHz Xeons in a X5DAE board quite happily. I can get my hands on a pair of used 3.2GHz (800MHz FSB, 1MB L2) for next to nothing - I wonder if it's worth it though. I should be able to plug the CPUs in, but if the new ones.

48-bit LBA Support for P4SBA Mobo - Does anyone know if there is a BIOS update for the P4SBA that will support 48-bit LBA to hard drives larger than 137 GB? is less than helpful.

370DLI - Hi there I am having a 370DLI and I unknowing of the 100MHz I bought 2 1Ghz and because of the 100MHz bus speed problem I am only able to run them at 750MHz each. Has anybody managed to modify the board to be able to run..

P6SBA - 1Ghz Celeron Question - I'm sure this group has seen its fair share of questions regarding this enigma, but I'm seeking to get this socket 370 1GHz celeron chip working with my P6SBA I flashed the BIOS to the latest rev and my PCB is rev 2.x... so I'm pretty sure I..

p4dce cpu-compatibility question - hello, is it really true that my p4dce can not & will never be able to run 2,8 ghz xeons (400 mhz fsb of course)? even with the new 1.3 bios or any future version it will not run more than 2,4 ghz? why? or is it just a marketing trick by to..

Will the P3TSSE motherboard work with a VIA C3 800MHz (Ezra) processor? The
VIA compatibility list doesn't many any Supermicro motherboards, but the
P3TSSE is based on the Intel 815e chipset, and there are plenty of boards
based on 815e on VIA's compatibility list.

Unless someone authoritative tells you that it is supported, don't bet on it. The
chipset is just one component. You also need BIOS support for the CPU. I have had
good luck with that C3 Ezra in an MSI 6309 v 5.0 (aka 694T Pro) motherboard, one
of the supported boards and also one of the very few that supports ECC. Recently I
tried the newer C3 Nehemiah in the MSI board, which should have been noticeably
faster. It barely ran since there was no support for the new CPU in the BIOS and
the processor caches were not enabled.

There is also a Gigabyte board, GA-6VTX I think, that has the Via 694T chipset and
would be a good one to look at.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
