Hey group!

Got a question...... ( of course ) I got the above mentioned board and the
sound seems really dull with the "SoundMax" onboard sound. There's no
option for "Treble" control in the audio properties, there grayed out.
Everything else sounds good except there's no high end to the sound. Is
there a way to increase this and is this a common problem with this onboard
audio? I had a SB Audigy Gamer and was very happy with it and wondered if
I would be better off with this card instead of the onboard stuff?
Opinions? thoughts?

TIA,

Doug

The Audigy Gamer far exceeds the onboard sound in quality. And using the
Gamer will remove the audio load from your CPU.

Hey, thanx for the input and expiditios response! I'll give it go for at
this point, I'm not happy with the onboard "SoundMax" audio.

Thanx once again!

Doug
