Has anyone any ideas why some programs will just not run on the P4DCE+ and
give exception errors? An example of this is the Adaptec Storage Manager Pro
which will fail on the decompression of the installation executable or on
the application if installed from another machine.

This is independent of windows operating system (e.g. 98, NT4 2K,XP). It
does not happen on a P3DRE under any operating system.

There are a few Intervideo video programs that have the same problem.

I think it may be an issue with the way a div0 instruction is handled in the
Xeon, but I may be wrong.

Have you checked your memory to make sure it's good? Sounds like there
may be a hardware problem somewhere... What BIOS revision are you
running? Do you have the most recent chipset and storage drivers?

Supermicro Boards vs. Adaptec SCSI RAID - Hi! We have several Supermicro Server Barebones (PIV, XEON) and we are wondering about the poor SCSI performance of the RAID-Arrays controlles by the Adaptec zero channel RAID cards. Some servers use the 2010S, some the 2015S, some RAID1, some RAID5..
