Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>asus (more info?)

I got a WD MyBook eSata disk today.
When I attached it to the PC it popped up in the browser, and I was able to
start an application that was on the disk, but before the application had
started to copy the files from the eSata disk, it disappeared from MyComputer,
resulting in some error messages about disk being offline.
The disk is ok, it works with firewire, but I am unable to make it work with
eSata again.

It is not visible in the BIOS (I imagined it would be).

The eSata cables was used the first time today for this disk, so it should be
ok.

Anybody here able to shed some light on this?
