P5K PRO and Raid 1 problem

Hi,

I have one sata disk with windows XP (boot disk) and 2 other identical 500Go
sata disks.
I want to make a raid 1 with the 2x 500Go sata disks but keep the windows
disk non raid.
If I select raid in the bios and then create the raid 1 volume, the system
cannot boot.
Is it possible to make this configuration ?

And what err msg is given?
You have checked the mobo manual for any specific mobo bios, a controler
connection settings. And when you say create raid in the bios you are
refering to raid bios and not mobo bios?
