Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard (more info?)

I just ordered the board with a 2600+ CPU and 256MB 333Mhz DDR ram. I'm
just wondering if there are any issues with this board.

BTW, the specs say it has an 8X AGP slot, will it handle my older 4X
card???

Thanks-

John

Sis746 chipset. Shoudn't be any problems. I'm not sure high the FSB will
go though. Officially it's limited to 133Mhz (266FSB) according to the sis
site, but I suspect it will easily do 166MHz. Check the reviews. Ram is
also limted to 166MHz (PC2700 speeds).

No problem.
I've got a 746fx board and it's very stable.
