PC Control Mode - Olympus C-450

I want to take photos using my PC - mostly just to see if it could be

Apparently the C-450 is a European model number:

The equivalent in the USA appears to be the D-565:

How confusing. Why can't they use the same model numbers worldwide?

The C-450 Zoom can not be pc controlled.

From the Olympus SDK site:
Sorry, there's currently no SDK for C-450 Zoom available.
