Post subject: PCU USB too slow?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>soyo (more info?)

I installed PCI USB controller card from ST Lab (type U-142) on my SOYO D+
(k7v) board. Now, original USB port on mobo, which is NOT USB 2.0 is faster
than this new one which is suppose dto be USB 2.0 compliant. Drivers are
original from XP SP2, but i also found ST ones and installed without any
change.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
