Post subject: Parhelia Max Refresh Rate?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>matrox (more info?)

Hi,

I have been struggling with this problem for over a week already and I'm
desperately hoping that someone may know the answer to my problem.

I have a Matrox Parhelia running with 2 CRTs and 1 TV. My problem is that
in 1600x1200 on monitor 1 & 2, I cannot force the refresh rate higher than
63 on Monitor #2 through the Matrox PowerDesk app. As expceted, Matrox Tech
Support is utterly useless.

I've gone looking through the registry trying to find out where I can
override this value, but can't seem to be successful. I know the board can
handle it, b/c by fluke, I once had it running at 75Hz (my ideal).
Unfortunately, for the life of me, can't get that back again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, before my eyes fall apart from
staring at Monitor #2. Does anyone know how to override this PowerDesk
value?

Thanks!

Eric
