Any ideas when the Intel Penryn CPUs will hit the market? I've seen 11 Nov
07 but no clear details. Wondering what the extreme version will behold.

Thanks, these facts kept me from buying a Q6600 right now. I'll wait
till January and see what'll be the best option when the new cores
arrived.

Till then my Pentium D at 3.8GHz has to be enough.
Although I'm sure I'll cry for a new CPU when playing Crysis Sad
