Pentax 555 or Sony DSCV1 Or ?

Personally, I'm leaning towards the Pentax Optio 555 - I've seen a few very
disparaging comments about image quality (though that could just be from
people who are anti-Sony as there does seem to be a bit of snobbery around),
but also I wasn't too impressed with the feel and handling of the camera.
What puts me off the Pentax at the moment is it's high price here in the UK
of £499 - I might just wait a few months.
