Finally got around to OC'ing this thing. I notice one thing right away,
and that is the cooler MB/NB temps. The board comes with a small fan for
cooling the NB HS that clips right on. It is silent so no noise problems.
The manual says you only need it for water cooling, but I would use it
anyway just to help keep the NB as cool as possible. My first attempt to
boot failed and I checked the small LCD on the back panel and it said "CPU
INIT". I immediately removed and cleaned the contacts on the bottom of the
E6600, reinstalled it and voila.......good post and boot into XP. I didn't
even do a repair install since it has the same basic chipset as the P5N32E.
I even managed to save my two raid arrays and data that I had already backed
up just in case. So, other than me 'most likely' getting a fingerprint on my
CPU.....

(I would never, ever do such a thing), everything went pretty
much flawlessly as far as the changeover. That little LCD could be a
lifesaver for troubleshooting post issues.
As far as overclocking, I went directly from 2.4ghz to 3.0ghz since I
knew my CPU would do that easily. It was completely stable there and I was
surprized That my memory speed, set auto, was at 1000......and very stable.
On the other board, my memory would not run at all over about 833. I
eventually got the CPU up to 3.2ghz and memory up to 1066 and that is where
I am now. I ran Memtest and Orthos with no issues and CPU temps stayed under
50c and MB at 39-41c. The MB comes with 3 thermistors that you can place
anywhere so I put one in the center of the case, one between memory HS and
module and the third I taped to a HDD in the center of the rack. Case temp
was 26c, memory under stress was 45c and HDD at 40c.
The new bios from a week or so ago supports all 1333 processors and
added better memory support and overclocking improvements for 1333
processors, so it claims. I flashed it and saw no difference for my system
at all. That is where I am now and I may try higher after I run at this
speed for awhile just to see if I have any issues.
