Is it possible to damage a motherboard bas changing CPU fsb and
multiplier? I tried booting my T-bird 1.3 (100*13) at 166*5. Should
have booted at ~830 MHz but instead I got nothing, ie. no post. Since
then I've cleared the CMOS numerous times and swapped out every single
component, assembled them outside the case, everything I could think of.
The only common factors are the motherboard and CPU. The CPU still
works, as tested in my KT7, but since its the only socket A cpu I have,
there is no way for me to test the board with another.

I'm having a hard time beleiving that I fried my board by setting the
fsb and multiplier to settings that couldve damaged the CPU but are
within the board's specs. Has anyone else ever done this?
