I recently purchased a Shuttle SN45G and installed my Athlon XP 2800.
It is only recognized as a 1250Mhz Athlon. When I go into the BIOS to
change the FSB setting to 166Mhz and the multiplier to 12.5, the
system locks after I save and exit. I have to clear the CMOS to get it
to reboot. Any changes I make in the Bios seem to cause a lock-up. I
already downloaded and installed the lates Bios revision, "I". Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

try decreasing your ram timings and speed down to 100mhz @ 8-3-3-3 or
something just to check if its your ram.
