I've been running my 8KHA+ with a 2400+ cpu and 2 sticks of crucial 256mb
pc2100. I just bought a kingston 512 mb pc2700 and am having problems
having all the memory recognized. It seems that i can only get the first 2
dimm slots to recognize anything, as the highest the comp will see is the
512 in dimm1 and one of the 256 in dimm2. Nothing in dimm 3 seems to be
recognized. I have switch the ram in different positions and all the ram
sticks are recoginized, so long as it is not in dimm3. anyone know what to
do about this or has anyone had this problem? I would like ot be able to
have 1gig of RAM. Thanks.

Hi

Try one stick in DIMM 3. If no go, then the slot is bad.

This board doesn't like disparate rams. Try one of the Crucials in the
third slot. If it works, buy another Crucial stick. I had Mushkin ram
in my first slot. When I put a Crucial in 2 or 3, no go. I tried 2
different sticks. A second Mushkin worked just fine. MB's are still
part artwork....<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
