Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>cd-rom (more info?)

I've just bought a CD burner for my home PC. (a pentium 3 533mhz packard
bell)

I replaced the Panasonic DVDROM with the BTC CD-RW drive, and when I
switched it on, all I got was a title page saying 'Sec Master ATAPI
Incompatible'.

Anyone - how can I fix this? I run W2000 on my PC and the CD-RW drive comes
with no paper instructions, but does have a 'Nero' CD for software.

Many thanks

Adam H
