Processor ID - I have an older AMD Athlon I yanked from my system to upgrade. It has the starting serial # of AXDC. I know its a 2000 but not if it is a 2000XP. AMD's web site listed Athlon XP's as starting with AXDA. Im I right in believing the one I have..

THe only thing is those with a lower multiplier for the same speed use
a higher FSB so run the RAM faster.

But it's a lot more complicated than that. In short, you're not likely
to notice so I'd not worry about it.
