I just purchased a Duron 1.6 ghz without yielding to the allowed
processor speed (which is 1.3 ghz, according to Soyo's site)
So I was wondering if I put this Duron in my motherboard, will it mess
it up, or can I just clock the 1.6 ghz to run at 1.3 ghz?


I have a Soyo KT400 DRAGON Ultra Black Edition

Should run fine. The cpu chart at the Soyo web site is outdated; the
1.3G Duron was the fastest available at that time.
