Hi all...... thinking about upgrading my processor from P4 1.7G to P4
2.4G in an Aopen MX46 motherboard. According to the literature the board
will accept this processor but the maximum system bus speed is 400Mhz.
All the 2.4G chips I've looked at are 533Mhz. Will one of these chips
work on this board?

No, you need a 400FSB processor. You might want to try here:

It will work. My proccessor is designed for a 400FSB and a 2.2Ghz,
but my proccessor is 533FSB and 2.26Ghz. All it does is "downclock"
it to your maximum motherboard speed. An advantage to this is you
can overclock the CPU without actually overclocking it Very Happy (If you
know what I mea).
