Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>nvidia (more info?)

Hello,

I have noticed that after playing a game of counterstrike source, when
I use wmp10,11,vlc,in browser, quicktime plugin that there is a purple
overlay. If I use media player classic, the video plays fine. I have to

restart the pc if I wish to use the other media players without the
purple overlay.

I have a 7800gtx 256, 1.5gb-ddr2, p4-3.0ghz,winxpsp2retail. It's really

annoying Please can someone enlighten me on a fix if one exists. I
beleive media player classic to be the better player for videos, so im
not that fussed about using wmp10/11 for video, but still the problem
with viewing videos through the browser, like aaple.com/trailers

Cheers for your time...

VMR9 video playback too bright/washed (TV range instead of.. - I have a problem with video playback on an FX 5200 on Win9x.
