Post subject: ATI RADEON 9800 SE AIW MMC 8.8 problems:
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>ati (more info?)

my system:
dvd/cd
tv in/out
2,4 Intel Pentium 4
1 gb RAM
plent HDD space
DirectX 9.0b ( including patch converting to PAL)

1. My autoscan TV does not pick up any channel, also when changing
country standard. Manual tuning is fine, but not all channels
available under current standard ( only when changing to other country
standard I get more channels). i live in the Netherlands btw, cable
TV/Internet prov UPC Amsterdam.

2. When performing PC check I get following error when checking
display driver:
Checks the installed graphics card.

Test result: Not a RADEON class graphics card.

Explanation: DVD and TV require a RADEON™ class graphics adapter.

Recommendation: Install an ATI RADEON class graphics card.

3. Recording video is not possible ( any format DVD/VDCetc);
TV-on-Demand and Export is possible !

any suggestions please !!!!!!!!!!!!
