Post subject: RW-CD - How to enable the ability to "drag-drop" files from Hard Drive
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>cd-rom (more info?)

I have XP Pro and want to use a RW-CD as the backup media for data
files .

At present I use an external Zip Drive for this but this is not only
inadequate in capacity but is also very slow.

I understand that RW-CD's can be formatted in such a way that they
become like large " floppys" and then have the abilty to have files
"dragged and dropped" onto them from a hard drive.

Can this formatting be done using InCD Software ?

If so , can it also be done with "Read-Only" CD's ?
