Will My Ram Work A7N8X-E

Will my RAM work in a A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard?

Its kingston value ram, and the sticker on it says, KVR266X64C25/512
2.5v, its a single 512MB Stick. Will be used with an xp 2400+ cpu.

Also, if i upgrade to a barton 333mhz fsb cpu in future, probably a
2500+ or a 2800+ will i need to change my ram as well? If i do change
my ram, am i better getting 2 lots of 256mb so i can run it in dual
channel?
