Hey all.

I'm running an AMD XP2600 that has a Radeon 9700 Pro within it. Can anyone
point me towards a nice *quiet* PSU? My current one is just awful.

You may want to give a price range...

Personally I bought a Q-Tec 550 Dual fan and two quiet fans... (YS-Tech
80mm, 20dB, 27cfm - they make a good replacement for the 450W Q-Tec, anyway)
Cost was about £40.

I use Thermaltake Pure Silent Power PSU's. They're as quiet as you want, as
the rear fan is either manually adjustable or thermally adjustable.

I use the Antec 550 True Control

550W Dual Fan with front panel control for voltage adjustments and fan speed
control. You can set the fan speed where you want it and if the power
supply gets too hot the temp monitor speeds it up to cool down the supply.

I cannot hear it running above the CPU fan (Vantec Aeroflow).

The voltage never varies from it's initial setting. Solid as a rock and
quiet.
