Anybody got any tips on how to remove female Molex pins from their
housing without having to buy an exractor tool. Needle point
tweezers?

Also, how does one remove the female pins from a 20 Pin ATX power
connector? Same method as with female Molex pins?

Cheers,

A long, thin flathead screwdriver can be used. "Wings" on either side
of the pin - which stop it from coming out - must be "retracted" before
the pin will come loose from the housing. Then, downward pressure can
be applied to remove the pin. Don't forget to re-spread the "wings"
before re-inserting the pin.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Use the cap from a BIC "yellow-biro-case".

I've pushed in the tabs on the pins before with a dental pick.
Once pulled all the molex connectors (8 or 10) from the lines
on an Enermax power supply and sleeved them with expandable
black sleeving. Toward the end tho I brought home an extractor
tool from work for the last of the line. ....was somewhat tedious
even then tho.....
