Post subject: S2466 Voltages
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>tyan (more info?)

When I run SiSoftware Sandra or MBM5 on my S2466, it gives weird
readings for the -5V value (+0.23V). I know that the default T
readings don't work correctly on Sandra for this board (diode vs
non-diode setting), so now I'm not sure about the Voltage readings.
The BIOS hardware monitor and the software that I downloaded from Tyan
don't show the -5V reading- can someone who has a S2466 run Sandra and
tell me what voltage reading comes up for -5V? The reason I'm asking
is that mine has a broken capacitor (dented on top and leaking), but
it still runs and the place I bought it from says they won't replace
it (apparantly it's not broken enough, but they said to call them when
it breaks more. Thanks!).

Mike
