S2875 Stability

Hello. I am currently an Asus A7M-266 dual Athlon owner wanting to
upgrade. I develop software, render and play games and enjoy dual cpu's
very much. I was wondering what your ideas were on the S2875,
particularly the stability. I had a tyan motherboard before (s2460) and
had a lot of hardships with it (i eventually returned it).

Also i was wondering what you guys thought about a dual opteron system,
vs a dual athlon 64 system (if it exists).
