MOBO is P4c800 with 2 Maxtor 80 GB SATA hard drives. (Maxtor 7200 8 MB
cache). No Raid, or Promise. One drive (SATA1) has the OS the other
(SATA2)is just for data backup. Bios shows both drives as ultra dma-5.
How do I get dma-6? ATA133? Already updated the Intel chip software.

XP doesnt support DMA 6. Thats why it shows DMA 5.

I thought this would be fixed in SP2 for XP. BUT it doesnt
Unless I reformat, it might after I reinstall SP2.
